My name is nicole borden. I'm 26.

I have a degree in vocal music performance from Central Michigan University, which I never intend on using.

I recently returned to CMU to pursue a degree in broadcasting and cinematic arts. Thus far I like it a lot more the second time around.

I suck at cooking, spelling, playing the clarinet and learning foreign languages.

So don't ask me to do those things.

Other than that I'm awesome.

I am very interested in choosing being an FBI Agent as my career choice in the future. Although I am only 15 years old, I am already sure this is the career I want to pursue. I’m cleaning out the garage and found this which is an excerpt from a letter I wrote in 1998 to the FBI. How obvious is it that I was some kid who was a total X-Phile. Can’t wait for July 25th! (via wherescoachbombay)

HAHA Sister Sister! I believe that was a dream for both of us. Remember I used to wear Al O’Dell’s old FBI polo shirt? And I wrote in a paper in 8th grade that I wanted to name my daughter Scully after Dana Scully in the X-Files and I remember mom telling me that was a bad idea because people would make fun of her. I wish we could see the new movie together!

American Airlines Cancels Flight Due to Hostile Passengers

I don’t blame the passengers for being agitated. My American Airlines experience yesterday was completely awful. Both of my flights were delayed for no known [to the passengers] reason.

I wouldn’t get too concerned. In my many many flying experiences, some of my best have been with American. They definitely have some of the most spacious “cabin” room compared to several others. I think that ALL airlines right now are just going through some difficulties due to budget constraints/transitions. And Paul, next time you are flying and your flight is going to be delayed so much that you are going to miss your connecting flight, ask them if there is a flight on a different airline they can put you on that will get you there in time to make your connecting flight. They’ll do it. As a matter of fact, this happened to Josh and I on our way back from L.A. Our tickets were with Midwest but the flight was delayed so they put us on a different American flight.

I read this and was confused… how did these people know about my friend Erica’s tumblr (her tumblr wasn’t well known), which she deleted several months ago due to some unnecessary drama. But then I realized her old tumblr was “unicornsandrobots.tumblr.com” rather than the other way around. Still, weird coincidence.

Doe crashes class on Central Michigan campus Apparently it was a slow day for news this weekend. Our story about the deer jumping through our classroom window was picked up by the associated press and within hours of the incident, Jeff Smith was getting phone calls from papers to get quotes for the story. It was published in papers and broadcasted on the news all over the Midwest this weekend, including the Chicago Tribune.
